  Li  Xueping

  Professor, supervisor of Master students, previously holding positions as Director of Teaching Affairs Office, Director of Graduate Office, nowVice -president of XMU; member of the council of Shaanxi Clinical Education Society; graduated from Medical Department in Xi’an Medical University ( now renamed as Xi’an Jiaotong University Health Science Center) in 1991; gaining herMaster degree of Medicine in 1999; graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University for Doctor’s degree, as Doctor of Science in 2009; editorial board member of Clinical Research and Practice;

  From the end of 2006, studied in School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University in United States, and finished Ph.D thesis there; had pursued post-doctorate studies in National Institutes of Health (NIH) for three years; engaged in education and scientific research for long time, mainly the area of pathogenesis ofendocrine and metabolic disease, publishing several papers on gene regulation mechanism about obesity and signaling pathways of mesencephalon nerve cells; attended SfN’s (Society for Neuroscience) meetings several times;post-doctorate studies winning NIH’s award for outstanding research in 2012; participated 2 national projects, charged 4 provincial level projects, and published more than 20 papers about teaching and scientific research, several of which are included in SCI (Science Citation Indexsci); the chief teacher of Diagnostics which is the provincial level excellent course, and Medical Nursing which is the college level excellent course; undertaking 4 courses, such as Medical Research Methodsand so on; completed 7 textbooks as chief editor or subeditor, such asMedical Nursing published by People's Medical Publishing House;won the  Renowned TeacherAward of Shaanxi Province, provincial Excellent Party Worker and Excellent Teacher in Xi’an Medical University several times.
