On 13th of April, 2018, North and South Western Division of National College Clinical Skill Competition sponsored by Center of Clinical Teaching and Research of the Ministry of Education is successfully ended at Guizhou Medical University. XMU delegation wins 1st Prize and is qualified for national finals at Dalian in May.

18 universities from 9 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in North and South Western China participated in this event. XMU delegates are selected from School of Clinical Medicine and trained in affiliated Baoji Hospital for 4 months, before led by vice-president Li Xueping to Guizhou .
