On April 8th, 2018, a delegation of Nepali government led by former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal visited Xi’an Medical University. Leadership of XMU and directors from relevant offices welcomed the guests. Meeting with the delegation is hosted by Party Secretary Fan Bing.

President Yang Fan extended welcome to the guests and reviewed the friendship shared by Nepal and XMU in the past years. He expressed willingness to enhance collaboration with Nepal to and together contribute to the Belt and Road initiative.

Former Prime Minister Nepal says, the country has entered a stable, peaceful stage and is building toward prosperity. This government thinks highly of the close ties with China. He hopes to witness more cooperation on medical education and exchange.

Secretary Fan Bing made the remark that Marxism parties in both countries strive to bring happiness to the people. We have much to share and a bright future ahead.
