At the invitation of International Department of CPC, a cadre study group of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) headed by Rajon Bhattarai, CPN (United) Central Committee and the Legislative Council member visited Xi’an Medical University.

Secretary Fan Bing, on behalf of our teachers and students, welcomed the Nepalese delegation, and introduced the situation of XMU. Fan Bing briefly reviewed the development of visits by Nepalese leaders, cooperation between medical and scientific institutions over the past years. He said, after repeated communication, a deep friendship and affection between our university and Nepal has been established. Afterwards, the group study visited the laboratory of Basic Medical Sciences guided by Doctor Zhao Yufeng.

Committee member Bhattarai expressed his appreciation for the hospitality of Xi'an Medical University, and said he would report what he had observed to President Ollie. He hoped to strengthen the medical education exchanges, to send more Nepalese medical research personnel and students to learn in XMU, and the two sides would carry out deeper exchanges and cooperation in more areas.
