The delegation represented by Liu Manling, the Deputy Director of the Institute of General Medical Science attended the 22nd WONCA World Annual Summit as invited.
Between Oct. 17 and Oct. 21, the 22nd WONCA World Annual Summit 2018 hosted by WONCA was held in Seoul, South Korea and subjected as “the Future of Primary Medical Care: Leading Profession”. More than 5,000 famous experts, scholars and relevant professionals in the field of general medicine and family medicine from more than 100 countries attended this event.
The Chairman Young Sik Kim presided over the summit opening ceremony.
Liu Manling-the Deputy Director of the Institute of General Medical Science and Fan Liping- the Intern Researcher attended the summit as invited. Deputy Director Liu Manling addressed regarding “Diagnosis and Treatment Process of Upper Respiratory Tract Infections in Children Applicable in Community Health Centers in China” and had a heated discussion with scholars from various countries surrounding the current situation of the diagnosis and treatment of the communities of China. Intern Researcher Fan Liping conducted site exchange regarding the wall poster “Investigation and Analysis on the Current Situation of Prevention and Treatment Service Against Children's Common Cold Provided by General Medical Practitioners in Xi'an City”.

The WONCA World Summit has further improved our reputation and influence in the circle. Through the academic exchange, the institute has learned the disciplinary development updates of international family and general medicine in depth and participated in the outlook of the trends of primary medical care, in particular, primary health care of various countries.
